Dear dance families,
Some of you have reached out to me personally for tools and resources to support each other's mental, emotional and physical health as well as that of our families and kids. Below is my list of faves that I have personally been using or have heard wonderful things about from people's opinions I value greatly. Hope it helps you as it has helped me and my family.
For the kids: I use these regularly...
Insight Timer (free meditation app - check out the children's section)
Hatch Brighter (10 min inner growth activities to bond with your kids - free as well)
Cosmic Yoga (free and fun)
Karmant Learning (free tutoring, art, yoga and more for kids)
Weekly Amna Dance Videos (which we hope you are already subscribed to ;)

ABC Mouse (educational activities - free for 1 month)
Pigeon Books Special Series - heard the author of this wonderful series is posting videos online for kids, but couldn't find the link
For the grown-ups:
Insight Timer (free meditation app - I use this daily for a quick de-stress or wind-down)
Free 21 day meditation with Oprah and Deepak Chopra (heard this one is wonderful & free)
This is also another 21 day Abundance Meditation with Chopra that includes daily tasks that a good friend shared with me. I haveI started this with my hubby Dean and we are loving it.
Daily Greatness Journal (My fave jounal!!! It includes daily gratitude, intention setting and reflections. I use this daily and it sits on my bathroom counter to help me create a habit of doing it every morning and night. I recommend starting with the Original. Love their parenting and business versions as well.)
Morning Pages (A wonderful morning journal my husband gifted me that I also use daily. Strongly recommend for all! Especially the creative artistic souls)
Thrive Global (a wonderful library of resources for mindfulness - I am subscribed)
