5 Tips for Staying Healthy at Home

Updated: Apr 23

Below are some tips we heard from UNICEF and had to re-share...

1. Stick to routine or start new ones

  • Get up and go to sleep at regular time

  • Get dressed daily: exercise, shower, do your hair

  • Involve children in your daily activities

2. Stay connected

  • Video chats with family & friends

  • Share how you are feeling & ask others how they are feeling

  • Check in with colleagues (especially those alone)

3. Engage in hobbies

  • Do things you enjoy (reading, karaoke, sewing, puzzles, writing)

4. Set up a "worry window"

  • Give yourself permission to think about worries during a specific time of the day

  • Write all your worries down during this time

5. Practice Well-Being

  • Mindfulness

  • Gratitude Journal

  • Exercise
